Sanpoiwadake is a beautiful mountain located in the Shirakawa region of Japan. There are several hiking trails available for visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area. The mountain is accessible year-round, but the best time to visit is during the spring and fall seasons when the weather is mild and the foliage is at its most vibrant.

There is no admission fee to visit Sanpoiwadake, but visitors should be prepared to pay for transportation and parking. The nearest train station is JR Shirakawa Station, and from there, visitors can take a bus to the mountain. The bus fare is approximately 1,000 yen (9 USD) round trip.

There is no official website for Sanpoiwadake, but visitors can find information about hiking trails and other attractions in the area from the Shirakawa Tourist Information Center.

In addition to hiking, visitors can also explore the nearby Shirakawa-go village, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional gassho-zukuri houses. The village is open year-round, but hours vary depending on the season. From April to November, the village is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from December to March, it is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission to the village is 300 yen (3 USD) for adults and 150 yen (1.5 USD) for children.
