In addition to the temple, Ōsu is known for its bustling shopping streets. The district is filled with traditional shops selling everything from kimono fabrics to sweets, and modern boutiques offering the latest fashion trends. The area is also home to numerous restaurants and cafes, serving everything from traditional Japanese cuisine to international dishes.

Visitors can easily spend a full day exploring Ōsu and its surroundings. Nearby attractions include Nagoya Castle, the city's iconic samurai fortress, and Atsuta Shrine, one of Japan's most important Shinto shrines. As for prices, entrance to Ōsu Kannon Temple is free, while shopping and dining prices vary depending on the establishment. The antique market takes place on the 18th and 28th of every month, from early morning until around 4 pm. Nagoya Castle is open daily from 9 am to 4:30 pm, with admission costing 500 yen for adults. Atsuta Shrine is open daily from 5 am to 6 pm, with free admission.
