Zenko-ji is a famous Buddhist temple located in Nagano, Japan. The temple is known for its ancient statue of Amida Buddha, which is believed to have healing powers. Visitors can enter the inner sanctuary and touch a metal plate that is said to grant wishes.

The temple is open to visitors daily from 6am to 5pm, and admission is free. However, visitors can make a donation to support the temple's upkeep.

In the surrounding area of Zenko-ji, visitors can also explore the historic streets of Nagano, visit the Nagano City Museum, and take a trip to the nearby Jigokudani Monkey Park to see the famous snow monkeys. The Nagano City Museum is open from 9am to 5pm and admission is 500 yen for adults. The Jigokudani Monkey Park is open from 9am to 4pm, and admission is 800 yen for adults.
