Kencho-ji is a Zen Buddhist temple located in Kamakura, Japan. The temple was founded in 1253 and is considered to be the oldest Zen training monastery in Japan.

The temple is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm daily. Admission to the temple is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for children. The official website for Kencho-ji is http://www.kenchoji.com/en/.

In the surrounding area, visitors can also explore other temples and shrines such as Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Hasedera Temple. Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is open from 6am to 8pm daily and admission is free. Hasedera Temple is open from 8am to 5pm daily and admission is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for children.
