Daishō-in is a Buddhist temple located on the island of Itsukushima in Japan. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture and serene atmosphere. The temple is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and admission is free. Visitors are welcome to explore the temple grounds, which include a main hall, a pagoda, and several smaller buildings.

In addition to the temple, there are several other attractions to see on the island of Itsukushima. One of the most famous attractions is the Itsukushima Shrine, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The shrine is known for its iconic torii gate, which appears to be floating in the water during high tide. The shrine is open daily from 6:30am to 6:00pm and admission is 300 yen.

Other attractions on the island include the Momijidani Park, which is known for its beautiful autumn foliage, and the Mount Misen hiking trail, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors can take a cable car to the top of the mountain or hike the trail, which takes approximately 2-3 hours round trip.
