The Basilica di San Nicola, which houses the remains of Saint Nicholas, is a short walk away and is open daily from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The Castello Svevo, a medieval castle located in the heart of Bari, is also worth a visit. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30am to 7:30pm.
