Kirkjugólf is a natural formation of basalt columns located in Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Iceland. There is no entrance fee to visit this site and it is accessible year-round. Unfortunately, there is no official website available for this attraction.

In the surrounding area, visitors can also explore the nearby Systrafoss waterfall, the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, and the Eldgjá volcanic fissure. Systrafoss is located just a few minutes from Kirkjugólf and is easily accessible. Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon is about a 20-minute drive away and is open year-round. Eldgjá volcanic fissure is a bit further, about a 45-minute drive away, and is accessible during the summer months.
