Eldfell is a volcanic mountain located on the island of Heimaey, Iceland. It erupted in 1973 and caused the evacuation of the entire island's population. Today, visitors can hike to the top of Eldfell and see the surrounding lava fields and the town of Vestmannaeyjar.

The admission fee to hike Eldfell is 600 ISK (approximately $5 USD) and can be paid at the Eldheimar museum. The museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Visitors should plan for a 2-3 hour hike to the top of Eldfell.
