The Hirayuonsen Shukuhaku Information Center is a tourist information center located in Takayama, Japan. It provides information about the Hirayu Onsen area and offers various services such as accommodation booking, bus and taxi reservations, and local tour information.
The center is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm daily and admission is free. Unfortunately, I was unable to find an official website for the center.
In the surrounding area, there are several attractions worth visiting, including the Hirayu Waterfall, which is a 15-minute walk from the center and is especially beautiful during autumn when the leaves change color. The Shin-Hotaka Ropeway, which offers stunning views of the Northern Japan Alps, is also nearby and operates from 9:00am to 4:00pm (hours may vary depending on the season).
Another popular attraction is the Hirayu Onsen hot spring, which is said to have healing properties and is located a short distance from the center. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot spring waters while taking in the beautiful mountain scenery.
