The Hojuzan Risshaku Temple, also known as Yamadera Temple, is a famous Buddhist temple located in the Miyagi Prefecture of Japan. The temple dates back to the year 860 and is situated on a mountain, providing visitors with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

Visitors to the area can also check out the nearby Yamagata Museum of Art, which is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm daily except for Mondays and admission is 500 yen per person.
