Fushimi Inari-taisha is a Shinto shrine located in Kyoto, Japan. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates which line the paths of the shrine's wooded forest. The shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god of rice and sake. The shrine grounds are free to enter and are open 24 hours a day.

However, the main shrine buildings have opening hours from 5:00 am to 6:30 pm daily. Admission to the main shrine buildings is free, but donations are accepted. The shrine is busiest during the day, but many visitors also come in the evening to see the torii gates illuminated.
