The Khwabgah (Royal Bed-room) is a part of the Fatehpur Sikri palace complex in India. It was used as the sleeping quarters of the Mughal emperor Akbar. The room is decorated with intricate designs and is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture.
The Khwabgah is open to visitors every day from sunrise to sunset and the entrance fee is included in the overall ticket price for the palace complex, which costs INR 550 for international visitors and INR 40 for Indian visitors. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance.
There is no official website for the Khwabgah, but information can be found on the website for the Archaeological Survey of India, which manages the site.
In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the rest of the Fatehpur Sikri palace complex, which includes the Buland Darwaza gate, the Jama Masjid mosque, and the Diwan-i-Khas audience hall. The complex is open from sunrise to sunset and the same entrance fee applies. Guided tours are available for an additional fee.
