unratty Castle was built in the 15th century, by the Earl
ofThomond, who was renowned for his hospitality. That
tradition ofhospitality is kept alive today with the world-famous
Bunratty Medieval Banquet, held twice nightly year round at
17.30 & 20.45 (reservations necessary).
For over 40 years the ladies of the castle, aided by the Earl`s
butler, have welcomed guests from the four corners of the globe
to join them at the Earl`s banquet. The entertainment includes an
atmospheric reception and the superb Bunratty Singers provide
fitting entertainment to complement a delicious four-course meal,
with wine. Guests are sure to enjoy an unforgettable evening in
the splendour of the Banquet Hall, of this magnificent castle.
The long oak tables, bench seating, flickering candle-light and
the warm glow of the open-fire, create a unique atmosphere,
reflecting the banqueting style of the medieval era.
TRADITIONAL IRISH NIGHT
T
he Traditional Irish Night, celebrating the best in Irish music,
song and dance, is held nightly in the Corn Barn, Bunratty
Folk Park, from April through to October (reservations necessary).
Here is the perfect setting for a celebration of all the best
traditions of Ireland. Guests can experience the way generations
of Irish people entertained their family, friends and communities.
Guests are invited to enjoy the company of the finest
traditional singers, dancers and musicians from the local area,
which is renowned for its high quality Irish music. You will
experience the homeliness, friendship and warmth of a true
traditional Irish evening ... and you might even learn a dance step
or two!
No evening would be complete in an Irish home without
sharing a festive meal. At the Traditional Irish Night, the wine is
plentiful and the food is cooked in a traditional way with portions

e cháteau et le Folk Park (Pare des traditions populaires) de

d`Irlande. Construit en 1425, le cháteau de Bunratty est la
forteresse médiévale la plus complete et la plus authentique du

Le Bunratty Folk Park attenant propose en outre, sur ses quelque

groBen Bunratty Folk Park nachgestellt, in dem sich Bauernhauser,
zwei WassermüWen, eine Kirche, eine Dorfstrallc, ein von Mauern
umgebener Garten und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden.
Die weltberühmten mittelalterlichen Bankette werden
ganzjahrig im Schloss abgehalten.AuBerdem findet taglich von
April bis Oktober in der Corn Barn ein traditioneller irischer
Abend statt, mit dem Besten, was irische Musik, Gesang und Tanz
zu bieten haben.

l Castillo de Bunratty y el Folk Park, es la principal atracción
para VIsitantes de Irlanda. Construido en 1425, el Castillo
de Bunratty es la fortaleza medieval más completa y auténtica de
Irlanda. Lleno de muebles, tapices y obras de arte de los siglos XV y
XVI, los visitantes pueden deleitar sus ojos con tranquilidad.
La vida en Irlanda en el siglo XIX se recrea dentro del
colindante Folk Park de Bunratty de 26 acres, que consta de granjas,
dos molinos de agua, iglesia, calle de aldea, un jardín tapiado y
mucho más.
Los mundialmente famosos Banquetes Medievales se celebran en
el Castillo a lo largo de todo el año. También, de abril a octubre, se
celebra cada noche en el Granero una Noche Irlandesa Tradicional,
