Cathedral Cove is a stunning natural attraction located within Te Whanganui-A-Hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve in New Zealand's North Island. The reserve is open year-round and there is no admission fee to visit.

Access to Cathedral Cove is via a 45-minute walk from the car park at Hahei Beach, or by water taxi or kayak from Hahei or nearby Whitianga. The walk is well-marked and passes through native bush and along the coastline, offering stunning views of the ocean and surrounding area.

Cathedral Cove itself is a beautiful beach surrounded by towering cliffs and rock formations. The beach is only accessible on foot or by boat, which adds to its secluded and serene atmosphere.

In the surrounding area, visitors can also explore the marine reserve's many snorkeling and diving spots, as well as nearby attractions such as Hot Water Beach, where visitors can dig their own hot pools in the sand.
