The Hazards Beach Track is a popular hiking trail in Freycinet National Park, located on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia. The track is a 5.5 km (3.4 mi) return walk and takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the pink granite Hazards Mountains and white sand beaches along the way.
The trail is open year-round and there is no admission fee to enter the park. However, visitors are required to purchase a national park pass which costs AUD $24 per vehicle for a day pass or AUD $60 for an annual pass.
The official website for Freycinet National Park is https://parks.tas.gov.au/explore-our-parks/freycinet-national-park. Here visitors can find information about park facilities, camping options, and other hiking trails in the area.
In addition to the Hazards Beach Track, visitors to Freycinet National Park can also explore Wineglass Bay, Coles Bay, and Cape Tourville Lighthouse. The park is open daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with extended hours during the summer months.
