Þingvallavatn is the largest natural lake in Iceland, located in Þingvellir National Park. There is no entrance fee for the park. The park is open year-round, with the visitor center open from 9am-5pm during the summer months (May-September) and from 10am-4pm during the winter months (October-April).

There are several activities to do in the area, including hiking, fishing, and snorkeling in Silfra fissure. The park also has historical significance as the site of Iceland's first parliament, the Alþingi, which was established in 930 AD. Visitors can see the remains of the original parliament site and the Law Rock.
