Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple, is a contemporary Buddhist temple located in Chiang Rai, Thailand. The temple was designed by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and construction began in 1997. The temple is known for its intricate white exterior and beautiful murals inside.
The temple is open daily from 8am to 6pm and admission is free. However, donations are welcomed to help with the ongoing construction and maintenance of the temple.
To visit Wat Rong Khun, visitors can take a tuk-tuk or taxi from the city center of Chiang Rai. The temple is located about 13 kilometers south of the city.
