The Grand Palace of Bangkok is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand. It was built in 1782 and served as the residence of the kings of Thailand until the early 20th century. The Grand Palace is open daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The admission fee is 500 baht (approximately $16 USD) per person. Visitors should dress modestly and cover their shoulders and knees. Shoes must be removed before entering any of the palace buildings.

Wat Phra Kaew is located within the Grand Palace complex and is also open from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Wat Pho is open daily from 8am to 6:30pm. A visit to the Chao Phraya River is a must-do in Bangkok, with many boat tours available throughout the day.
