The Guangzhou Revolutionary History Museum is a must-visit for those interested in the history of China's communist revolution. The museum showcases the role Guangzhou played in the revolution and features exhibits on the lives of revolutionary leaders like Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission costs 10 yuan for adults and 5 yuan for students.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find an official website for the museum.
If you're looking for other things to do in Guangzhou, there are plenty of options. The Canton Tower is a popular attraction with great views of the city, and the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall is a beautiful example of traditional Chinese architecture. Additionally, the Shamian Island area is a great place to walk around and take in the sights of colonial-era buildings.
