The Espaço Baleia Jubarte in Praia do Forte, Brazil is a whale conservation and research center sponsored by PETROBRAS. The center offers educational exhibits and interactive displays about the humpback whales that migrate to the area each year. Admission is free, and the center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the beautiful beaches of Praia do Forte, including the Praia do Lord and Praia do Papa-Gente. The Tamar Project, a sea turtle conservation center, is also located in Praia do Forte and is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
