The Garganta del Diablo, or Devil's Throat, is one of the main attractions in the Iguazú National Park in Argentina. This stunning waterfall can be accessed by a 1km walkway that leads visitors to a platform that overlooks the powerful cascade.
The entrance fee to the park is currently 800 Argentine pesos for foreigners, with discounts available for students and residents. The park is open daily from 8am to 4:30pm, and the last entry is at 3:30pm. The official website for the Iguazú National Park is www.iguazuargentina.com.
Aside from the Garganta del Diablo, visitors to the park can also explore the other waterfalls and hiking trails. The Paseo Superior trail offers a panoramic view of the falls, while the Paseo Inferior trail leads visitors to the base of the falls. Boat tours are also available for those who want to get up close to the falls.
In the surrounding area, visitors can also visit the nearby city of Puerto Iguazú, which offers restaurants, shops, and other tourist attractions. The Jesuit Mission of San Ignacio is also a popular nearby attraction, with guided tours available daily.
