The Monte Albán Archaeological Site is located in the city of Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico. This ancient city was once the center of the Zapotec civilization and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm and the entrance fee is 80 pesos (approximately 4 USD).
Visitors can explore the many pyramids, temples, and plazas that make up the site, including the Great Plaza, the Observatory, and the Ball Court. There is also a small museum on the site that houses artifacts from Monte Albán and other nearby archaeological sites.
In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the city of Oaxaca de Juarez, known for its vibrant culture, delicious cuisine, and colonial architecture. Other nearby attractions include the Tule Tree, the Hierve el Agua natural pools, and the Mitla Archaeological Site.
