The Las Baulas Marine National Park is located in Playa Grande, Costa Rica. The park is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm. The entrance fee is $15 for adults and $5 for children. The official website is www.sinac.go.cr/en/.

The park is home to one of the largest nesting sites for leatherback sea turtles in the world. Visitors can witness these magnificent creatures laying their eggs on the beach during the nesting season from October to March. The park also offers hiking trails through the dry forest and mangrove swamps, as well as opportunities for birdwatching and snorkeling.

In the surrounding area, visitors can also explore the nearby town of Tamarindo, known for its surfing and nightlife. Another popular attraction is the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, which offers hiking trails, waterfalls, and hot springs. The park is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm, and the entrance fee is $15 for adults and $5 for children.
