The Tapir Valley trail is located within the Volcán Tenorio National Park in Costa Rica. The trail takes visitors through the lush rainforest and alongside the Celeste River, known for its striking blue color. The park is open from 8am to 4pm daily and entrance fees are $15 for foreigners and $5 for locals.

In addition to the Tapir Valley trail, visitors can also explore other trails within the park, such as the Rio Celeste Waterfall Trail and the Mirador Trail. Guided tours are available for those who want a more in-depth experience.

Nearby attractions include the Tenorio Volcano, which is active but currently not erupting, and the Arenal Volcano, which is about a two-hour drive from the park. The town of La Fortuna is also a popular destination for tourists, offering hot springs, zip lining, and other outdoor activities.
