he Central Sector ofthe Imperial Citadel of Tháng
Long - Ha N9i, located in the heart of Ha N9i
capital, is the most important part of the Imperial
Citadel of Tháng Long. It served as the capital of Dai
Viét from the 11 th to 18

centuries.
The entire heritage area is the center ofthe Forbidden
City and the Imperial Citadel of Tháng Long, which
was both residence and workplace of kings and roya]
families during the Ly Dynasty (1009 - 1225), the
Trfrn (1226 - 1400), the Le so (1428 - 1527), the Mac
(1527 - 1592) and the Le Trung hung (1592 - 1789).
The once magnificent ramparts and palaces no longer
exist, but their relics stiU contain priceless values of
history and culture. They demonstrate the continuous
development of the Imperial Citadel of Tháng Long,
and the glorious history offounding and defending the
country of`Viét N am.
This area was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage
Site byUNESCO in2010.

• Adults: VND 30, OOO/person/tour
• Vietnamese students (15 years old or above) and old
people (60 or above): VND 15,000 (Note: Studenl cards
and identity cards must be presented upon purchase o/
tickets.)
• Children under the age o/ 15 and people who were o/
meritorious service lo the country during the war are
exemptfrom tickets.
